ORION is an 8-month-old domestic short-hair black and white male. This sleek and athletic boy loves a good chin scratch. Orion would do well in a cat only home. He is very handsome, friendly and is incredibly cute when he curls up into a ball for a good cat nap. Sometimes when he is sleeping and you wake him up, he will make a cute trill/meow that will melt your heart. Orion was Herald Sun Pet of the Week 4/12/08.

SAM is a 1-year-old domestic-short hair brown tabby male. Sam has paws that look like they were dipped in white paint, and pretty yellow/green eyes. He is incredibly sweet and is perfectly content to be held while you walk around. Sam is mellow, friendly and affectionate. He likes to play and climb. He has experience with kids age 9-10 and has done well with them. He is good with other cats, but will sometimes try to play more than other cats would like.

TUCKER is an 11-month-old domestic short-hair gray and white tabby male. A sweet and adorable voice, Tucker loves to have his chin and ears scratched. He came in to the shelter as a stray, but likes to interact with humans. Tucker will happily sit on your lap. He is very sweet and would make a good addition to your family.

BATMAN is a 1-and-a-half-year-old domestic short-hair black and white neutered male. Born in a barn, he arrived at the shelter with no experience of being inside. The shelter staff monitored his litter box habits and we were happy to see that he easily uses his litter box! Since then, Batman has been getting used to life indoors, and is still nervous at times. However, he loves to cuddle and loves attention. It is easy to activate his purr while he is nestled in your lap. He likes to be brushed and stroked. He is very sweet, and mellow. He gets along with other cats, but sometimes gets intimidated by them and needs extra love an reassurance. Batman was named Volunteer Pick of the Week for 3/23/08-3/29/08.

ROGER is a 2-year-old domestic short-hair brown tabby and white neutered male. Roger arrived at the shelter as a stray and had received some sort of trauma. After a few weeks of medical care, Roger is doing exceedingly well! He is very sweet and is the perfect lap cat. Roger is handsome and friendly with a kind disposition. He does well with other cats.

HARLEY is a 2-year-old domestic short-hair brown tabby neutered male. He is very affectionate and outgoing. If he sees other cats getting attention, he will invite himself into the situation and ask for attention too. Harley has a cute, tiger-esque looking face. He came to the shelter as a stray and gets along with other cats, but enjoys wrestling with Roger. Harley would do best in an adult only home.

TWINKLE is a 1-year-old domestic short-hair brown tabby spayed female. She arrived at the shelter badly injured and required surgeries to repair her leg and tail. As a result of her injuries, Twinkle has a very short tail. Despite the trauma she has experienced, Twinkle is an extremely well-adjusted, cute and friendly cat. She loves to cuddle with you and has a loud purr when she is being stroked. She gets along with other cats, and is not afraid to assert herself with them. Twinkle would do well in any type of home.

JACQUES is a 1-year-old domestic short-hair all grey male. This sweet boy is good with kids.

SYMBOL is a 2-year-old domestic short-hair brown tabby with white neutered male. Upon his arrival at the shelter, he was a bit nervous and shy, however, his time with other cats and volunteers has eased his nerves. He is a good lap cat and is content to stay there for some time. Symbol has a quiet purr and a sweet disposition. He gets along with others cats.

CHLOE is a 6 month to 1-year-old domestic short-hair brown tabby and white female. She came to the shelter along with her kitties, to whom she was a good mother. She has a shortened tail, giving her character. Chloe is very loving and craves attention.

MINNIE is a 2-year-old calico and white spayed female. She likes attention, and is independent and curious. She lived in a home with Daisy, and they got along well. She gets along with other cats, but doesn't like them in her face. Minnie is very sweet and is good with children. She is good about using her scratching post.

DAISY is a 3½ year-old orange and white tabby spayed female. She gets along well with other cat, especially her sister Minnie. Daisy is shy and needs time adjusting to new surroundings. She is very sweet and lovable. She does well with children and is good about using her scratching post.

PILLOW is a 1-year-old domestic long-hair black and white spayed female. A sweet and fluffy cat, Pillow came to the shelter as a stray. She gets along with other cats, but needs her own personal space from them. She has bright eyes and a pretty face. She loves to get scratches under chin and behind her head and will activate her quiet purr when receiving affection.

PRINCE is a 2-year-old domestic short-hair brown tabby neutered male. He is loving toward other cats and will bath them, but when he is not in the mood to play with them, he will make it known. He has a great purr and he is easy going. He is a good lap cat and gives kisses to show his affection. He is good with kids and animals.

KITTENS Spring is upon us, which means there are many kittens available at the shelter with each passing day. If you are looking for a specific color or type of kitten, we encourage you to come visit the shelter, as kittens become available faster than we can post them on the website!
And remember that if you adopt one cat or kitten, you can adopt a second one at half-price!!

SQUEAKY is a 1-year-old domestic-medium hair gray/tabby male. As his name suggests, this handsome guy is talkative. Curious and outgoing, Squeaky likes to be held and to receive affection. Squeaky is sweet and lovable, but would do best in an adult only home.

LEONELLA is a 7-year-old domestic-short hair black and white neutered male. Since he is older than most cats at the shelter, he is a bit scared of the environment, but he is a pure cuddle-bug! Leo's front paws are de-clawed. He is a fabulously sweet and loving cat. He likes to sit in your lap and all he wants is to be comforted. Leo would do much better outside of the shelter as he has a heart of gold. Please find it in your heart to rescue him!

DIANA is a 1-year-old domestic short-hair dilute tortie spayed female. This dignified and loveable princess has a soft purr when she is being stroked. She loves to cuddle and is incredibly sweet. She is outgoing, friendly and is good with kids and other cats. She would make a wonderful addition to any loving home.

MIA is a 1-year-old domestic medium-hair orange tabby spayed female. This beautiful and incredibly wonderful cat is extremely sociable and sweet. She loves to be brushed and will roll over on her tummy to make sure that you don't miss a spot. She is a great lap cat and companion as she likes to sit near you when you are working away at something. Mia is great with kids, but doesn't care much for dogs. She would make a fantastic addition to a loving family. Mia named Volunteer Pick of the Week for 4/13/08-4/19/08.

COLETTE is a 7-month-old domestic short-hair Seal Point Siamese female. Aside from her beautiful appearance, Colette is a sweetheart who loves to hug, be held, and to sit on laps. She will talk to you to get your attention and will happily enjoy your company.

TIKI is a 2-year-old domestic medium-hair black neutered male. With a handsome coat and a soft purr, he will gladly meow a greeting to you when you come up to him. Tiki is very accepting of adults and kids older than two. He does well with other cats. He enjoys sitting in your lap to receive scratches and brushings. Tiki is such a sweetheart. He is playful and has a tendency to chase your feet and play with interactive toys. He was named Volunteer Pick of the Week for 3/4/07-3/10/07.

KATARINA is a 1-year-old domestic short-hair black and white female. Outgoing, curious, and friendly, Katarina is eager to great those who walk through the door. Her bright pink nose and small face make her attractive. She is talkative and likes to be stroked. Katarina likes to perch on shoulders or high places and is ready to experience a home that allows her to roam and explore. She is good with other animals.

AVA is a 9-week-old domestic medium-hair brown tabby female. She loves to play, and one of her favorite things to do is chase balls around endlessly! She has a very soft coat and she is very cute!

ISABELLA is a 1-year-old domestic medium-hair brown tabby/Maine Coon mix spayed female. Although she may be cautious of new surroundings, Isabella will quickly warm up to anyone and will find comfort in a lap. She has a sweet voice and disposition. Isabella loves to be scratched behind her ears, and she enjoys having her soft coat brushed. She is great with dogs and children, making her a great candidate for any home. Isabella was named Volunteer Pick of the Week for 3/9/08-3/15/08.
