ALVIN

ALVIN is a 2-3 year old Chihuahua who was very reluctant to be touched or picked up when he first arrived at the shelter – we think he most likely had suffered an injury which made handling painful. He seems to have made a great recovery, and is now proving himself to be a perky, social, fun little dog who loves to sniff and explore! He does still have a slightly sensitive side, and will blossom with kind handling. Since he’s very food-motivated and attentive, he should be a great little dog to train  :-)
He gets along with other dogs.
Alvin is looking for a kind home where he’ll have lots of love and attention.
Here’s what one of our volunteers has to  say about Alvin:
Alvin has become quite an adventure-seeker! I was able to easily put his leash on, and he confidently walked in front of me during our whole walk.
He was attentive towards other dogs we saw on our walk, and really seemed to want to run and play. He is great on a leash and really made me smile. This little guy has tons of personality!
