UPDATED 5/21/13!!
This sweet-faced girl is DAISY, a small-size Basset/Lab mix who’s 4-5 years old. She’s a gentle, cooperative little girl who’s rather shy and sensitive, so she’ll do well with kind handling and training to help her build her confidence. She’s very motivated and attentive for food treats, which will be a big help with training and settling. Daisy will blossom in a calm, low-stress home.
Here’s what one of our volunteers has to say about Daisy:
Daisy is a sweet, quiet girl who’s a bit shy, but she definitely wants to show you how much love she has. She likes snuggling and cuddling. During our walk we sat on one of the benches and she just put her two paws on my lap and just stood there surveying her surroundings, and then checking in for a kiss and a snuggle.
She also likes treats and takes them very gently – she’s quite the lady! She’s still has some play in her – it’ll come out when she’s feeling secure and safe again. She’ll do wonderfully in a quiet home that will work with her on building her confidence. She’ll enjoy nice walks with her owner(s), then some quality time cuddling :-)
Daisy lives in kennel 8.
