Personality Color: pinkA little shy and submissive, but tries hard. Needs kind handling and positive (rewards-based) training to help build confidence.
CLARA, very sweet, about 2 years old, was so timid and insecure at the shelter, but she is blossoming in her foster home!
Here’s an update from her foster family:
“Clara has made great improvements in foster care. When she came to us, she was quite anxious, but her confidence grows a bit every day. She adores our dog Millie and has learned to conquer her everyday fears, such as going through thresholds, by taking Millie’s lead. Clara would greatly benefit from being a second dog, and she has lots to offer to the pack! She loves any opportunity to share her bed and cuddle with Millie, but is also respectful and polite. Clara has even started to engage in play and likes to try to get Millie to chase her around the backyard!
We have started to see her sweet and curious personality come through and are certain that in a calm, patient home Clara will blossom and be a great companion. She is both house trained and crate trained and absolutely loves going for walks and cuddling in bed in the mornings. And how could you not love her adorable underbite!”
