Gifts of love support the APS

A memorial or tribute donation is an appropriate way to remember or honor a special person while at the same time helping the animals at the Durham County Animal Shelter. Every year APS is fortunate to be the beneficiary of such love and thoughtfulness, making it possible for us to continue our important work. In 2009 the Animal Protection Society of Durham received over 450 tribute gifts. Thank you to everyone who kept APS in mind throughout the year! Tribute gifts are a thoughtful way to celebrate a birthday, wedding, new baby, graduation or any special occasion. They also serve as a special expression of sympathy by honoring the memory of a friend or relative. Tributes or memorial gifts can honor someone you admire, respect, or want to remember in a meaningful way, a co-worker, a family member or a friend who has made a special impact.

Tribute gifts to the Animal Protection Society of Durham will be acknowledged with a card, letting the recipient or their family know that a donation has been made in their honor or memory. The amount of the gift is kept confidential and the tax deduction is yours.
