We adopted Achilles (formerly Otis) on
January 4th, 2007.
We just celebrated his one year birthday on October 20 as you can see. He is
everything we could have asked for in our first dog. Neither my boyfriend
nor I had ever had a dog before and we are surprised every day at how much
we love him; he is a part of our family and we are so happy to have him in
our lives.
Achilles is a protector but he also loves to play, sleep, chase squirrels
and my absolute favorite, give kisses. He is a quick learner and I was
pleasantly surprised one day when, after only a couple of days of training,
he rolled over. He is one of the best things that has ever happened to us.
We can't imagine life without him; he will be with us a long time if we have
anything to say about it.
