Happy Endings - Brooke (adopted June 2006)

Dear APS of Durham-
We adopted Brooke in June of 2006, and she has brought so much joy to our lives. She came to us as a very timid and submissive puppy, but has since blossomed into a confident and very outgoing "goof-ball"
who loves everybody she meets. She absolutely loves the dog park, long car rides, being outside, and the cats at grandma's house (even though they don't like her very much!). She did extremely well at obedience classes, and has since learned to "shake", "play dead", "speak", and "high-five"! She is the most animated and expressive dog I have ever known! She gives a loud husky howl when she feels ignored, grunts and groans when she stretches, and gives a loud sigh when she lies down after a hard day's work of playing and sleeping.
All in all, she is the best dog we could have asked for. Thank you APS of Durham!!
-Lisa and Jonathan.
