Happy Endings

After my faithful feline companion of 19 years passed away in early March,
there was a definite void in our family's life. Like many of you, I thought
I'd just drop by the Durham APS and "look around." Well, one fateful
Saturday afternoon resulted in this big ol' natural Maine Coon with his
beautiful green eyes stealing my heart. On April 4, "Kevin" joined our
family and before the day was done, my 14-year old son remarked, "It's like
he's been here with us forever."
Now affectionally dubbed Che' because of his resemblance to a certain Latin
American revolutionary, this playful lovebug has won our hearts with his
endearing and playful ways. We may never know about his past, but we can
promise that his future will be a secure and happy one as the newest member
of our family.
