My husband and I lost our dog
to cancer in late February of 2006 leaving a big hole in our lives. It didn't
take long for us to decide we needed another dog. Leeloo (formerly Stacy) was an
APS Goldstar Dog that I had my heart set on from her online photo and bio. I
tried to be fair and looked at all the other dogs, but Leeloo was the puppy for
me. There were some rocky times in the beginning, many shoes and mini-blinds
went to their final resting places, but she is a wonderful companion. Her
hobbies include going to the dog park, running really fast, playing fetch,
swimming and taking naps on the couch. She is currently taking her first canine
sports class. She also has a little brother now whose company she very much
enjoys.
I would like to thank everyone at APS for taking care of so many wonderful dogs
and finding them good homes.
