Happy Endings - Polly

I adopted Polly on March 1st, 2004.
I had been looking for a dog for months but was trying to assess what kind of dog would be best suited to my situation. I could provide a lot of exercise but since I work, that meant that whatever dog I adopted would have to spend hours alone while I'm at work. But I knew I could provide boat loads of love! So I hoped I would find a dog that had had contact with people before and would feel comfortable with people around as well as on his/her own.
When people at the APS shelter suggested that I take a look at Polly, I agreed. When she was brought into the visitation room, little did I know how sweet she would turn out to be!
But right from the first moment, she melted my heart! What can I say... Polly is everything I always wanted in a dog! In only a couple of months, she seems to have developed such a strong link with me and I believe she is now feeling comfortable in her new home. She is a sweetheart and so fun to have around!
