Happy Endings - Talia (adopted November 2004)

We adopted Talia two and a half years ago from the Durham Animal Shelter (Novemeber 2004). She had a broken leg and was afraid of everything. She did not move of the sofa for 1 month, and then suddenly transformed. Her leg is great now, she now plays a lot, has to be constantly with us, and wakes us every morning with a lovely kiss! We adopted our other dog Belle from the Orange county animal shelter a year after Talia because we had such a good experience with her, and wanted her to have a friend. After a few disagreements for the first two weeks, they now get on wonderfully, as you can see from this picture. They both adore our 4 year old daughter and have licking competitions over her, disgusting I know! We just thought we would share our happy tail to promote other people to adopt animals, they really appreciate the second chance and show you every day.
