Happy Endings
- Miss Ruth (Formerly Stella)
|

 |
Our friend, Emily
volunteers much of her time walking the dogs at the shelter. When she met
Miss Ruth (formerly known as Stella), she insisted that we meet. We
reluctantly went to the shelter not sure if we were ready for another dog so
soon after our last pet passed away. But when we met Miss Ruth, we could see
what a great companion she'd be. She was a little shy at first (just like
us!) but she has flourished in our home AND in our hearts. We love her so
much and can't imagine our lives without her. She is the most expressive
little pup I have ever known. She loves to do her tricks, so we recently
started agility classes. And her cute, little, crooked teeth always put a
smile on our faces. Thanks to Emily for insisting that we meet! And thanks
to all who work and volunteer at APS of Durham--you are an asset to our
community!
