Happy Endings

I adopted Rocko, a Jack Russell Terrier mix,
from the Durham County Animal
Shelter at the beginning of August 2007. My current dog Sophie, had been
diagnosed with cancer. She needed a companion to help keep her active and
brighten her spirits as she entered the final phase of her life. Rocko is
just that. Sophie and I welcomed him home with open arms. They got along
famously from the first meeting. After dinner every night they spend time
grooming each other and playing with their toys. They love to nap together
and will share a bed together more often than not. They are the best of
friends and Rocko has been the most wonderful addition to our happy home.
