Happy Endings

My name is Shelby, and I was adopted from the
shelter in January of 2006. I was only 4 months old, and I was very scared at
first. It took a while to adjust to my mom and dad. My first night at my new
home I learned how to climb stairs for the first time. Eventually I began to
love my new family including my grandparents and aunts and uncles. I fit in
great. Every weekend the family would go for hikes and swims, and I loved riding
in the car! Eventually I became lonesome while mom was at school and dad was at
work. So they got me a brother! I met my little brother, Sherlock (formerly
Baxter), in February 2007. Sherlock and I are best friends. We love to go to the
dog park or for a swim in Duke Forest. We have a great yard to play in every
day, and we love to play tug together every night. Sherlock and I have lots of
adventures ahead of us, and we are lucky to have such a great family!
