Stella
has a sad story that has ended with a very happy ending. Stella was
originally born in her foster home in November 2005. Her mother Claudia
was a foster dog who came to the shelter pregnant but had a heart murmur and
heartworms causing her to not be able to be spayed. Stella, then Daisy,
was born into a foster home were she and her 4 brothers were loved and cared
for. Stella got adopted by a family who after 2 year decided they no
longer wanted her. She came back to her original foster mom for
assessment. Stella was a terrified, very un socialized dog. After a
lot of care and love, her foster mom decided to adopt her knowing that she
really was home. She is now happily living with her original mom Claudia,
and her sister/aunt Roxie and her brother/uncle Buddy.

Stella
loves to swim and play with her friends Jethro and Hazel and her sister Roxie at
the dog park. She is still unsure of strangers, but she tries very hard to
trust new people and with time will learn to trust again.
Stella is
a loving girl who just wants to be loved and never given up again. How
could anyone have given up this wonderful, sweet girl? Stella has found
her forever home and will NEVER be without the love and attention she
wants/needs again. |
