We have faced staggering challenges in 2009. APS has taken in hundreds more pets than ever before and the county has cut our operating budget. Despite this, We have continued to do everything we can to provide for the needs of each and every animal at the shelter.The APS cannot do what we do for the homeless, helpless pets in our area without the generous support of our donors.
There are so many homeless and helpless pets in our area. At the APS we plead for their lives and campaign for their safety. We hold them when they are scared and sad, bind their wounds and treat their sickness, exercise and play with them and do our best to make sure they find loving and nurturing forever homes.
We can’t do all of this without your help. Please, remember the thousands of pets at the Durham County Animal Shelter each year and include APS in your 2010 charitable giving. They are depending on you.On behalf of the board, staff and especially the animals at APS, thank you for your support!
