LUCY – Adopted June 2009

Dear Durham APS staff,

We’d like to let you, and all of the visitors to the webpage, know how well our little Lucy (formerly Sally) is doing. We adopted her about a month ago and she has since brought amazing joy to our lives. She is the most appreciative and sweet dog that I have ever met. She loves to give kisses to anybody who bends down to her level. She loves the Carolina Pines dog park and her box of toys almost as much as she loves cuddling with us on the couch at any given opportunity. Since coming to us she has learned 5 or 6 commands and is constantly looking to us for approval. We love coming home to her welcome home excitement. Thank you so much for letting us be her forever home.
