One-time or short term volunteer opportunities.

Saturday September 11th is the annual APS Dogwash at Whole Foods. This is definitely one of the volunteers’ favorite events of the year. This year we’ll need volunteers to help with a number of different jobs as follows:

• 9-10:30 am Set up

• 10:45 am -1:30 pm Dog washers, registration, dog handler, floater, face painter/kids games, towel manager, greeter.

• 1:15 – 3:30 pm Dog washers, registration, dog handler, floater, face painter/kids games, towel manager, greeter.

• 3:15- 4:30 Tear down

• We are also asking ALL volunteers that day to take home a bag of towels to wash, dry and fold and then bring back to the shelter at your convenience. Last year the shelter washer broke because we had so many towels to be washed! We (especially Dina, who does the laundry at the shelter) really appreciate this extra favor!
