SAVANNAH
UPDATED 7/15/10!!
SAVANNAH is a Foxhound who came to us after being abandoned at the Lenoir County SPCA in Kinston, emaciated and starving: http://www.kinston.com/articles/walker-62099-hounds-deserted.html.
Over the past few months, she’s put her terrible past behind her, and now hardly bears any resemblance to the sad girl we first met! She’s social, very playful (she has lots of playbows when she gets to go outside!) and loves to go for walks. Not suprisingly, she’s VERY interested in food, which will be a big plus with training and settling. Despite her hard life so far, she seems in good health for her age (maybe around 5 years?) and is now at a healthy weight (maybe slightly overweight?!), up to date with her shots, spayed and heartworm negative.
Savannah is a very endearing girl who deserves some kindness, love and attention at last. In return she’ll be a loyal companion :-)
