Summer Workshop for Kids
The APS of Durham hosted its second volunteer led Paw Pals summer camp in June 2009. Camp provided a fun and educational experience for the next generation of animal guardians. The kids had interactions with several different animals, learned about animal welfare and environmental issues, watched a spay surgery, enjoyed visits from special guests and had a chance to use their creative side to help the animals.
