TRISTA is a perky, energetic 8-9 month old Elkhound/Pit mix who’s friendly and playful (she loves her toys and likes to chase a ball!). She pays attention very nicely when food treats are on offer, and does well with other dogs.
Trista will do well in an active home where she’ll have lots of exercise and ongoing basic training.
Trista has been lucky enough to find a wonderful foster home! Here’s what her foster mom has to say about her:
Trista is a very sweet girl and has settled in nicely in her foster home.  She is getting along well with our two dogs and loves to be in the mix and go on family walks on the local trails.  She has been on her best behavior: she doesn’t chew, doesn’t really bark, initiates play well, takes treats really well, and is housetrained.  She enjoys being active, but when we are at home, she will gladly plop down for a nap next to our feet.  She loves people and gets very excited when new people arrive, and we are working on her not to jump so much.  But it is hard to resist her enthusiasm and she will give you kisses if you ask for them  :-)
She is a lovely dog with a sweet personality and will be a great addition to a loving and active family!
