James Herriot Society

Creating a Tradition of Giving
The James Herriot Society was created in 2003 to foster, promote and recognize the vital importance of personal giving at exceptional levels to the Animal Protection Society of Durham. Named after the veterinarian and famed author of All Creatures Great and Small, the James Herriot Society personifies the spirit of the man who deeply respected and loved all animals.
James Herriot Society members are instrumental in providing the resources necessary to make the difference between programs of average quality and those that are truly outstanding. This select group of donors commit to make a gift of $250 annually to APS for three years.
Please contact the Development Office at (919) 560-0640 x231 if you are interested in being a James Herriot Society Member.
Humane Legacy Society
