Movers for Mutts
Throughout the fall, we partner with Two Men and a Truck Raleigh Durham, to collect donations and raise funds for our shelter animals. Stop by at a Fill the Truck event, drop off an item from our wish list at a donation box location, and enter to win 2 tickets to the Duke vs. UNC basketball game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. It's going to be a fun few months, collecting items and funds for our furry friends!

Cuddle therapist, kennel cleaner, escaped dog rescuer, Corey Gradin embraced all of her volunteer roles at APS with intense love and fierceness of purpose. She loved nothing better than hanging out with the dogs and cats that needed extra love and attention. Longtime volunteers knew they’d find Corey in the back of the kennel hugging a dog who was having a tough time with the shelter environment.
In her legacy, her family and friends are paying tribute to her with the establishment of Corey’s Cuddle Corner.

Our dear friend Rick Fisher created a coffee table book of photography, "A Last Love Letter to My Friends: Celebrating Dogs and the Joy they bring us". Rick gifted the remaining books to us in hopes of inspiring more donors to support APS of Durham in a meaningful way. In memory of Rick, we are asking you to become a recurring monthly donor this month: our Faithful Friend.
