Mark your calendars for May 27th, 2023 as APS heads back to Duke’s East Campus for our annual Walk for the Animals.

Walk for the Animals is a 1.5 mile charity walk around Duke University’s East Campus, and raises money and awareness for homeless and neglected pets throughout the Durham community. This year’s walk is set for Saturday, May 27, starting at 10 a.m.

Each year, more than 500 Triangle residents participate in the Walk for the Animals. Proceeds raised at the Walk will benefit APS of Durham and its work caring for more than 5,000 animals who rely on the organization’s services each year.

Participants can register as individuals or as a team – recruiting friends, family and coworkers to join.  Registration is available online through our Walk webpage.

Your support in raising funds for the care of the animals is needed now more than ever. Click here to find fundraising resources, tips, and tricks.

APS is dependent on our wonderful community sponsors to help offset the cost of holding this event. If you would like to be a sponsor, please see the sponsorship packet below. It includes benefits and information form. Please direct any questions to Dawn Drake at dawn.drake@apsofdurham.org
