Here is a photo of Astro, adopted from the APS in December of 2008, as I recall. His name in the shelter was “Monte”, however we were told he had previously been named “Spotty”. My daughter used to call him “Spotty-Monte-Astro”.
Astro LOVES to go hiking in the woods at Duke Forest and Eno River State Park. He has definite quirks such as fears of construction vehicles, but seems to have gotten past most of the phobias he had when we got him. He is super-affectionate and very responsive to directions. High strung and active, but a joy to have around. He knows that he is part of our family.
