Animal Protection Society of Durham is excited to be a part of this year’s Clear the Shelters! This pet adoption effort is in its’ 9th year with @WRAL, which helps pets find their next best home. We encourage you to adopt and donate now through the end of August!

Animal shelters across the country are once again teaming up with NBC and Telemundo stations to find loving homes for pets in need with the Clear The Shelters pet adoption and donation campaign.

Animal Protection Society of Durham is excited to offer all of our adoptable dogs and cats for $50 this month. WOW – that’s such an amazing deal! We put so much care into our animals that a comparable value from a local veterinary clinic would be approximately $600.

What do you get with your adoption? All animals are:

  • spayed or neutered
  • microchipped
  • appropriately vaccinated
  • medically and behaviorally assessed
  • parasite treatment, control and prevention
  • given lots of love and socialization from our staff and volunteers
