Arlo
Personality Color: orange
Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!- young

Hiya! Are you ready for ALL the WIGGLES?! I’m friendly, sweet, energetic, and curious. I can be a little anxious in new places, but I’ll feel much better with you by my side. I like treats, toys, exploring, and being active. I’d benefit from object exchange for toys, plenty of sniff-filled explorations, and positive experiences!
Kids 10+, history of guarding, jumpy
Dogs: friendly sniffing, offered play
Arlo spent some time in foster, here’s what they had to say:
“He’s really well trained. He knows so many commands and as long as he’s not excited and trying to play, will execute them amazing. He knows: sit, come, down, paw, look at me, drop/fetch, and wait. He’s a fantastic walker. He’ll heel right next to you and look at you/check in periodically. He was great with other dogs on leash while walking. Wanted to say hi, but had no problem if he couldn’t. He would get exhausted after 3 miles. He was happy to go in his crate and hang out there while we couldn’t keep an eye on him. Biggest issue: he doesn’t know his own size so he plays a little rough, to no fault of his own! He does though play fetch really well, and so proactive playing with the tennis ball goes far to avoid any rough housing. He loves toys especially squeaky ones. He really liked the hide and seek toy and it would occupy him for hours! He was a bit nervous at first but after a little bit of time, he liked to lay within eye sight of us, and show off his squeaky toys.”
