IN FOSTER CARE

Bailey

Personality Color: blue

Blue dogs are easy going and easily adapt to new situations. They are generally calm, may be playful but not overly exuberant, and will likely be happy doing just about anything with you. These dogs will be a good fit for just about any home, and would be great for first-time dog owners.

Bio data

Hi there! My name is Bailey and everyone thinks I’m the sweetest dog ever. I love people and want to be around you all the time! I hate being left alone, even though I love my foster mom’s fenced in backyard. I will only do well as the only dog in the home as I can be quite selective with other dogs. However, I’m not too fond of cats, or birds for that matter. I’m so glad the weather is starting to cool off because I love being outside. I do know the word “come” and ‘sit” but I’m still unsure of my own name – but we can work on that! I’ve had no accidents in my foster house, so A+ for me. I can get a little too excited and start to nibble but my attention can be refocused with toys. I’ve gotten better at riding in the car and I’m pretty good at “wait” before crossing the street. Overall, I’ve learned a lot with lots of reassurance and love. I am a bit of an escape artist because I just want to be next to you, my foster mom tried everything to keep me in her laundry room at night but I managed to get past all barriers and now I get to sleep right next to her bed. My stamina has increased and I love to go on walks, hikes, and even short runs.  I am so friendly and just want to chill with you, happy to be your work buddy, movie date, or sou chef.
