Bassoon

Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

Info from Bassoon’s time in foster:

“Bassoon was a delight the moment we took him to our home! He had a big grin on his face in the car ride from APS. The second we got to our house, he found his happy spot, which was right up on the couch. He was very hesitant about the crate, and generally does not like to be locked up in any way, be it in the crate or in a room. Fortunately he was extremely well-behaved, and after a few days of being in our home we felt very comfortable letting him stay out. He was great with our two cats, even when they weren’t great with him. (Poor thing took a couple swats to the nose, but he kept his cool.) He did great with all humans, especially little ones! He’s not sure about some bigger dogs, but after a few barks he settles.

He loves car rides, couches, getting pets and good long walks. He’s at his happiest when he gets to really RUN. A yard would be ideal for him, or just a human who likes to take him outside for exercises and chance to use those long legs of his. He’s such a good boy, and we wish we were in a position where we could adopt him. We hope he finds a good home soon!”
