Wheeee! Why do you think they named me Bouncy? I’m a sweet, playful girl who’s drawn to people. I can be appeasingly wiggly and insecure until I’ve warmed up to a new situation. I love a stuffed toy and a ball–you can’t have too much playtime! Treats and gentle affection are good too! I’ll need some jumpy/mouthy training, calming exercises, and a solid routine to thrive. Let’s meet and get our wiggles out!

Kids: 13+, very jumpy, can be mouthy, worried by novel objects

Dogs: Frustrated and reactive when she can’t greet; friendly sniffing, very wiggly at greeting

More about Bouncy:

She’s a ~2-year-old lovebug who’s been at the shelter since January, and it shows in the best way—she’s just so grateful for every soft blanket, every quiet moment, every kind hand. Bouncy is gentle, easygoing, and truly lives for cuddles on the couch. She’d happily spend her days as a stay-at-home dogter, curled up by your side, keeping you company and sneaking in kisses between naps.

In our short time together, she:
✨ Proved herself fully crate & potty trained — not a single accident
✨ Played sweetly with squeaky toys and entertained herself with a good chew
✨ Got along beautifully with my other dogs — she’s so respectful of their space and energy
✨ Visited a coffee shop with me and absolutely stole the show. She leaned in for pets, wagged her whole body with joy, and had everyone wrapped around her dainty little paws 🐾

Bouncy has this calm, intuitive way about her that makes her feel like an old soul in a young body. She’s social without being overwhelming, affectionate without being clingy, and gentle through and through.

Whoever ends up with this girl is getting such a special companion. She’s ready for her happily ever after — and she deserves it. 💕
