I’m just plodding along, enjoying life and BOOM… I end up at the shelter… now I’m looking for my perfect furever family! I’m a sweet, affectionate, and loving boy who is a little nervous to start, but I warm up quick! They like to say I’m an aspiring lap dog in spite of my size, because I really like to cuddle with people. I also love treats, peanut butter, and exploring! This sweet boy is the ultimate cuddlebug — his favorite place in the world is right next to you (or on top of you) on the couch, and he’ll give you the cutest “why aren’t you sitting with me?” look until you join him.
He came to us very shy, tail tucked for days, but now we’re finally seeing tail wags and playful bursts with his toys. He’s learning leash manners (still a little zig‑zaggy), doesn’t beg at the table, and puts himself to bed in his kennel every night.
He’s still figuring out basic training cues and is timid around other dogs, but he’s gentle and so eager to love and be loved. Bowen is the cutest little shadow just waiting for his furever home.
