Let’s put some cinnamon and spice in your life! I’m a super sweet girl who feels worried in this big shelter! Once I feel more comfortable I’m curious, affectionate, and friendly — go slow with me and you’ll really see me bloom! I love gentle affection — I’ll even lean on you for more —  treats, and being with people! I’ll need lots of fun enrichment, a cozy bed to call my own, and some confidence building in new situations. Take me home today!

Cinnamon spice and everything nice! Canela is one of the sweetest dogs out there! She takes some time to get comfortable and can be shy at first, but once she has her people and a bed to call her own, she really comes out of her shell.

In just a few days, her confidence has grown so much and she’s full of energy. She enjoys chewing on toys, going on walks, hiking, napping in the coziest spots, lots of gentle pets, and even splashing around in the river. This girl loves to follow you around or play with her foster sister. She can tug-of-war or tussle with her siblings all day, but then cozy up right on your lap if you let her. After a long day of fun, she’ll happily sleep in bed with you or in her crate.

Canela is ready for you to take her home! She’d love a playful sibling but would be happy to spend all her time next to you too. We really love having her and can’t wait for her to meet her new family.
