Charlotte

Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

Bio data

Charlotte is a very, very sweet and obedient girl, and would make a great companion for a family or individual. She would probably be happiest in an active household with other fur siblings and humans to play with, but has been okay in my low-key home with a fenced yard. She is good with people and other dogs, and is learning to coexist with my cat! She is both house-trained and crate-trained.

Charlotte is now up-to-date on her shots, microchipped, and spayed, and was given a full medical evaluation. The APS vet thinks she may have an old injury to her right hind leg, which is being treated with inflammation meds this week. It doesn’t seem to bother or slow her down.

Charlotte is pretty good on a leash, but does pull slightly and wants to lead. She gets very excited to leave the house and needs help with self-control when departing the house. She has been responsive to training in these two areas but will need continued practice. She loves to play with other dogs and toys. She is very food-motivated and quickly learned Sit and is working on Stay. She will get up on her hind legs to say hello but is very responsive to corrections, and will immediately get down when told to do so.
