Chicken
Personality Color: green
Green dogs are a bit more shy and sensitive, maybe a little anxious, but are sweet and they try hard. These dogs will flourish with patient adopters providing gentle guidance and confidence building. They are likely too timid for active homes with children, and would do best in a calm, quiet home getting the TLC they deserve.- young

Don’t let my name fool you, I promise I’m much braver than a Chicken! I might be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a few minutes and you’ll discover an attentive, affectionate sidekick who is always looking to you for what comes next. One of my cutest habits is my auto-sit – I’ll plop down so politely, almost like I’m saying, “Okay, what’s our next adventure?” I’m a smart cookie who loves learning, enjoys squeaky toys (bonus points if you give me one just to carry around!), and would have so much fun practicing tricks, exploring the neighborhood, or playing together before curling up for some well-earned cuddle time. I’m looking for patient, gentle people who enjoy helping a clever pup build confidence and celebrate little wins along the way. If you’re looking for a best friend who is equal parts thoughtful, playful, and eager to learn, come meet me today – I think we’ll make an amazing team!
Kids: Any age, mindful of puppy energy
