Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

Cranberry has been spending some time in foster, here’s what the humans have the say about her:

“Cranberry’s done great with our dog (Kermit). She’s happy to play hard, and willing to appropriately express when she’s done. Any potential adopter should know that she’s mouthy in her play style, but it’s appropriate mouthing. She’s a great wrestler.

She does get jealous of attention paid by humans to another dog – she will push herself in between and has growled to shoo him away. She is pretty easy to redirect. There has been no food, water, or toy guarding.

She knows sit, though she would prefer not to. She is perfectly houstrained and knows how to use a dog door.  She’s a dream to walk on a leash (no harness necessary). She takes treats gently.

She knows how to find a cool spot in the house, and has made good use of the air conditioning vent.

She loves to romp in the back yard. Her favorite toys are stuffed toys and balls. She will chase a ball that we throw for her, but expects us to retrieve it.”
