They call me Fidget because of my fast-moving tippy tapping toes! I’m an energetic girl who likes to prance, keep busy, and use my brain! I’m super smart and super athletic, which will make me a great pup for doggy sports! I love booty scritches, treats, learning, and keeping busy! Fidget is a wonderful girl! She greeted us in a friendly way and was eager to get started on her adventure. She hopped right into the car and curled up for our trip to Duke Forest. She was the best-behaved pup in a car that I have seen in quite some time. On the trail, this sleek and pretty girl enjoyed a brisk pace to start but did take some sniff breaks. After about 15 minutes, she slowed her pace nicely and was happy to stroll loose leash for the rest of our time on the path. She is confident enough to pick her own route when given the opportunity, but she is very flexible and will gladly follow her person where they want to go as well. She sweetly gazes up at you to check in and sits nicely for treats. We took breaks to give her some love, and she enjoyed scritches and tucked her head under our arms in a very endearing way. She had no issues whatsoever passing people and did really well when we passed a large male dog. She was interested in the dog, but did not bark, lunge, or pull. She is a fantastic candidate for a hiking partner and would likely do well on a greenway too. Fidget is trusting, sweet, and affectionate without being pushy. She’s got a playful side, but she has a natural air of grace about her as well. She has so much to offer and many wonderful traits. She will make a loving companion for a lucky adopter.
