More about Fitzy from a recent Doggy Day out:
You really have to see Fitzy out of his kennel to see his personality — SUCH a big difference! He willingly tried to hop in the car; we just had to help put him in the car kennel so we could head out for some time in the park. He rode in a kennel in the car. He was a little anxious at first, whining for a bit. But we quickly discovered that music soothes him, specifically songs with a lot of bass!
We switched him to a long line in a large open field to run around. He had a great time and was carefree, bouncing all around! He met a few people and was calm, friendly, and curious. He knows “sit.” After the park we went and got a pup cup. We sat out on the patio for a bit and he greeted people very nicely. Tip of the day — visit with Fitzy outside if possible! You’ll see a different guy compared to the shy doggo in the kennel.
