If you’re looking for a co-pilot when you’re out and about, I’d be VERY happy to join you! I might be a little nervous at first, but when I warm up I love gentle affection, treats, and being with my favorite person! I love butt scritches, play with a ball or toy, and gentle people! I’ll need folks who can give me a quiet home, confidence building, and a cozy retreat all my own. Come give me some scritches and see if we’re a match!

Kids: 6+, gentle kids, go slow, use object exchange for toys

Dogs: Friendly sniffing, offers chase games and gentle play, can be vocal. He would be at his best in a home without cats.

Grayson is the PERFECT example of a gentle giant! His absolute favorite thing is to lie next to you on the couch with his head in your lap. Close seconds are tossing a Kong around to amuse himself and pushing around his big jolly ball and trying his hardest to grab onto it.

Our family is two humans, four dogs, and four cats. He was a little shy at first with us, but that lasted less than a day – now he follows us around and gives us all the happy wiggles and leans whenever he sees us. Three of our dogs are small and he is very gentle with them. He wants to play chase with our large hound dog, who’s 14 years old and isn’t up for that, but he backs off right away if he gets corrected. We think he’d love to have a dog pal to play chase with! He gave the cats a very wide berth at first, but as he’s gotten more comfortable, he does sometimes chase them or bark at them, so he would be his best self in a home without cats.

He’s a big sniffer/marker on walks, but he will get going with a little gentle encouragement. He’s not a puller unless something like a squirrel catches his attention, but he’s a big, strong dude so his adopter will need to be comfortable with that. We worked with him to redirect his attention from moving cars because of some reactivity there, and he has responded really well.

He has not had a single accident in the house since he’s been with us! By day three, we trusted him enough to give him the run of the house. He’s really a joy to have around – he’s just a sweet, happy guy and always brightens our day! If you’re looking for a big pup with a heart to match, you’ve definitely found him ❤!
