Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

Bio data

Hazel was originally found as a stray in November of last year. She is sweet and sensitive, but energetic and happy. Hazel gets along well with other dogs but does prefer someone to lay in the sunshine with, less about that rough a tumble stuff. Her most favorite activity is chasing a ball and batting her eyes at humans for gentle affection and treats. Hazel is sure to win you over with her loving energy and tendency to be a velcro dog. Her sensitive nature can make her feel the need to guard treats and food so we recommend she doesn’t go into a home with small children. She really is the sweetest and is ready to high tail it out of our shelter. Come meet Hazel today, she’d love to show you some love.

Kids: 10+, food guarding, very sensitive

Dogs: Sensitive but playful, slow intros, prefers dogs that aren’t too rough
