Howard

Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

I’m ready to learn, play, explore, and adventure! I’m a friendly and social guy who LOVES to keep busy and active. I like people, gentle affection, chasing a ball or toy, and running around being goofy! I’ll need plenty of exercise and play time, some basic training, daily fun enrichment activities, and adventure time with YOU. Come meet me and let’s find lots of fun things to do together!

Kids: Any age, dog-savvy kids, may steal kids’ toys

Dogs: Friendly sniffing, then moved on, likes a gentle sniffing partner, no play seen

Class clown in a pet—look no further!

Howard will have you laughing one minute and be snuggled up by your side the next. He’s a total goofball with an enormous heart! He adores playing with stuffed toys and will carry them around proudly. During his time in foster care, he’s been steadily coming out of his shell. He may be a little reserved and independent at first, but once he’s comfortable, be prepared for plenty of belly-up moments, goofy smiles, and teeth that get adorably stuck.

Howard is fairly independent and would likely do well with a calm, easygoing canine friend who shares his vibe. He’s an all-around good boy who knows “sit” and is making great progress on his loose-leash manners. With a little patience and a lot of love, Howard will make an amazing companion!
