Jimmy Chew or Jimmy Choo? Either one, his talent and style is sure to steal your heart. Jimmy Chew, also know as JC, Jimmy James, Jimbo, Jimbalaya, Jim Jam, or Adventure Snausage is a short king with a big heart. He is playful, loving, and loves to chase anything that moves. After he’s gotten his fill of romping around, he’ll crawl into the nearest lap for snuggles. House-trained and crate-trained, Jimmy adapted quickly to his foster home’s routine. He will thrive in a calm and patient home that continues to provide daily training, exercise, enrichment, and lots of snuggles.

Jimmy is an active little guy, but he’s fairly good at keeping himself occupied as long as his needs are met. He LOVES toys and enjoys rummaging through his toy bag to show off all his favorites. He lives to play tug (Foster Mom insists on Tug With Rules to keep it fun for everyone). He struggled with the stress and overstimulation of being at the shelter; however, with a solid routine and consistent behavior meds, he has been a joy to live with. He’s responding wonderfully to training to help his jumping/mouthing and has made huge strides in less than 3 weeks.

Jimmy has been in and out of our program since August of 2022. Yes. you read that right. He is just waiting for the right people to scoop him up and bring him to his forever home.

Kids 13+, very grabby, intense, rough and tumble

Dogs: Dog selective, very slow & careful intros, playful w/ some dogs. Can be rough/rude.
