Joe

Personality Color: green

Green dogs are a bit more shy and sensitive, maybe a little anxious, but are sweet and they try hard. These dogs will flourish with patient adopters providing gentle guidance and confidence building. They are likely too timid for active homes with children, and would do best in a calm, quiet home getting the TLC they deserve.

Hi, my name is Joe! I’m one of the dogs APS rescued from a commercial dog breeder in partnership with Bissell Pet Foundation. I’ve had a rough start to life and can’t wait to find my future family! Please be patient with me as I learn how the world works and learn to accept the love I deserve. In my new home I’ll need confidence building, a cozy retreat, and lots of positive experiences. Could my forever home be with you?

Learn more about Joe:

Joe the tiny of the two boys but is the definition of small dog syndrome. Mr. Joe from the start walked to the beat of his own drum and made himself right at home. He loves other dogs and has become best friends with the foster’s dog.

Please remember, these dogs are a bit shy and sensitive and may need some extra care. They may be a little anxious, and they will flourish if you provide gentle guidance to build their confidence.
