IN FOSTER CARE

Kermit

Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

Bio data

I’m a super sweet young-ish guy at just under two years old. I’ve been really fortunate to live with a wonderful foster family for a couple of months now, and they are preparing me to be a great new member of my future family. Could that be with you? At 52 pounds, I’d love to be your cuddle bug on the sofa, give you kisses in exchange for a tummy rub, and be your emotional support. I love all people of all ages. But I can’t live with small pets, such as guinea pigs, because they just seem too much like a toy – and I’m certain they wouldn’t appreciate that at all! I really like other dogs and would benefit from a dog companion. I’m a bit of a roughhousing playmate – so keep that in mind if you have a dog already. I have been told that I take redirection well, so there’s that. I really enjoy playing tug-of-war, rubber balls, the kiddie pool and I can entertain myself with a good game of catch. I might have a ferocious voice, but I’m really a softy. I can get anxious when left alone, so I’d prefer a family with a member that can stay at home with me. I’m still getting used to sudden movements and loud noises and will appreciate companionship. I know some requests, such as sit, lie down, paw and hug. And I can jump REAL high. I will benefit from continued training and reinforcement of rules. If you are interested in a sweet, active, goofy cuddle bug who you can chill with or workout with, I’m your guy. Let’s get to know each other.
