Personality Color: green

Green dogs are a bit more shy and sensitive, maybe a little anxious, but are sweet and they try hard. These dogs will flourish with patient adopters providing gentle guidance and confidence building. They are likely too timid for active homes with children, and would do best in a calm, quiet home getting the TLC they deserve.

Bio data

We know what you’re thinking, how did this handsome boy find his way to the shelter and why is he still there. Two questions we really don’t have the answers to, but you can help solve one of them. Kovu is sweet and sensitive but loves to play with other dogs. He actually arrived to us with a canine friend and is always happy to join play group and see other friends on his daily walks. However, he can be a little nervous when it comes to humans. But we know that with time and a little bit of patience, he’ll wiggle his way into your life, and your heart will never be the same. Kovu’s manners could use some work, like four-on-the-floor training and knowing that he’s safe to have his own peanut butter and treats. Come meet Kovu today, and if you have any questions while you’re here, feel free to ask our behavior managers and front desk staff about if he’d be the right fit for you.
