Lambert
Personality Color: blue
Blue dogs are easy going and easily adapt to new situations. They are generally calm, may be playful but not overly exuberant, and will likely be happy doing just about anything with you. These dogs will be a good fit for just about any home, and would be great for first-time dog owners.- adult

Hello! My name is Lambert, but you can also call me Lam or Lammy :D. I love everybody I meet and tend to walk through life with rose-colored glasses.
I am sweet, silly, loving, and very snuggly. I will cuddle up next to you for hours if you’ll let me! I may sneakily roll
over so that my belly is available for rubs. I take lots of naps and my favorite position is to sploot on the floor (see pics!).
My usual gear is lazy, but sometimes I get bursts of energy! I like to be outside, go on long walks, and sniff sniff around. My nose if very good. I also love tug tugging (of war)! It makes me very excited, but when I hear “Out!” I usually know to let go. And then I take a long nap.
My foster parents keep taking me to a trainer! I am very good at Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, and Come. I am so smart and responsive because the treats I get are so yummy! They have also helped me with my manners on walks, and I am no longer bothered to go after squirrels. This also helps me be less nervous with other dogs. We will continue to work on this so that I am a star. Lately I have been getting compliments for being such a good boy!
I love food and treats so, so much. Peanut butter is my favorite and if I hear you unscrew the jar I will come running! At mealtime, my foster parents tell me to lay on my cot while they prepare my food. This is very hard but I do a good job of waiting until they say “Yes!” My slow feeder bowl helps slow me down lol!
I am house-trained! When my foster parents go to work, they leave me in the living room or in my crate, and I am happy with either! Occasionally I am sneaky and will steal a sock, but otherwise, I haven’t chewed on anything I’m not supposed to. 🙂 At night, I prefer to cuddle up next to you in bed, but I know I can steal the covers so I am also comfortable sleeping in my crate or the living room.
Like mentioned, I can be a bit nervous with other dogs. They call me “dog-selective”, so I will probably be best in an only-dog home. I’m not too keen on cats. I do promise to provide more than enough love to go around!
I can’t wait to give you my love and cuddles. Please ask about me! I can’t wait to meet you
