Hi, my name is Lily! I’m one of the dogs APS rescued from a commercial dog breeder in partnership with Bissell Pet Foundation. I’ve had a rough start to life and can’t wait to find my future family! Please be patient with me as I learn how the world works and learn to accept the love I deserve. In my new home I’ll need confidence building, a cozy retreat, and lots of positive experiences. Could my forever home be with you?

Meet little (Miss) Lily. She is the most adorable 5.6lb short hair Chihuahua. Lily is 5yrs old. She requires loads of patience and loving attention as she adjusts to her new life. She is shy with everyone but her person (which could be you!). She has a very sweet nature and loves meal time and treats. She walks great on the leash and is friendly with other dogs, especially those her size. She get’s the zoomies but also loves just sitting on your lap. She’s sensitive to strange sounds, loud noises and sudden movements can frighten her. Lily craves affection and positive interactions like praising her. Telling her she’s a good girl, etc. She loves gentle belly rubs once she warms up to her environment. Her sweet personality is just beginning to blossom. This is all new to her so baby steps are a must!
