Some friendships are worth waiting for… and I promise I’m one of them. My name is Louisa! I can be a little nervous when we first meet, but once I know you’re kind, all I want is to climb into your lap, lean in for pets, and soak up every booty scritch and bit of affection you’ll share. I’m much more interested in people than toys, and I’d happily trade a tennis ball for a cozy afternoon curled up beside my favorite human (especially if hot dogs happen to be involved!). I’d love a family that understands I may need a little time to settle in, but will celebrate each small step as my confidence grows through gentle encouragement and positive experiences. I also think I might enjoy having a respectful canine companion to help me feel more at home.
