Lucille
Personality Color: orange
Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!- adult

Bio data
Lucille knows how to make herself at home and we love that about her. She is easy to lean into humans, searching for any type of affection and treats she can get. Lucille has been spoiled by our volunteers recently, going on quite a few doggy day outs, helping us learn more about her and allowing her to get more comfortable with the outside world. She is playful and goofy and loves to hang her big head out of the car window. She would make the perfect training student and is seeking opportunities to learn new things and build her confidence. Lucille has great skills when it comes to leash walking and would always be down for a midnight snack. This sweet girl has been with us since May 24th and is ready to charm you and win you over! Come meet her today.
Lucille is so great that her adoption fee has been waived by a volunteer who loves her!

Lucille recently went for a doggy day out and here’s what the humans had to say about her:
“We were able to take Lucille to the Eno this afternoon for a break from the shelter and she was amazing! She got into the car great and loved to look out the window. She walked on the leash nicely on the trail and didn’t react to anything we passed by, which included a deer and a leashed cat! We ended the day with a swim and a pup cup. Someone is going to be lucky to get this girl.”
