Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

Mallory recently spent some time in foster, here’s what the humans had to say about her:

Mallory spent two weeks in our home and she was a total delight! She’s had a rough start in life and came to us with a lot of bald spots. Her hair is growing in quickly and she’s coming out of her shell as well. She’s timid at first but warms up as soon as she realizes there no threat. She does well in her crate overnight and is well on her way to being potty trained. She learned “sit” super quickly and will be easy to train because she’s so food motivated. She’s had to learn stairs but she’s now able to get up and down stairs by herself. She’s still nervous about the leash and will lay down on walks. But with patience she will go on a slow walk and she’s getting better every time.

Mallory will make an amazing loving pet for someone!! She loves cuddling with our whole family and just wants to be by her people!
