Mina
Personality Color: green
Green dogs are a bit more shy and sensitive, maybe a little anxious, but are sweet and they try hard. These dogs will flourish with patient adopters providing gentle guidance and confidence building. They are likely too timid for active homes with children, and would do best in a calm, quiet home getting the TLC they deserve.- young

Bio data
Mina is 40 pounds of pocket pitty perfection! She was found on the streets of Durham with her puppy, and now is loving the life of a pampered house dog. Mina has fantastic leash skills (so polite, no pulling, happy to greet others!) and loves long walks around the neighborhood. Her foster home reports that she is doing great in her kennel with a frozen Kong and is so smart, learning on-leash commands, sit, come, shake, down! She is truly eager to learn and please her people. She’s the perfect medium-energy dog – happy to go on her walks, some quick zoomies around the yard or playtime with her toys – then all set to Netflix & chill, snuggled up to you. She’s dog friendly, kid friendly, people friendly – Mina is HW+ but has already started her treatment, and she’s ready to find her forever home!
Heartworm positive – APS is currently offering no cost heartworm treatment through a foster to adopt period. Have questions? Email adopt@apsofdurham.org or call 919-560-0640.
